Over the years Black Bond Books has partnered with the food banks in our communities to launch a literacy program called “Feed the Mind”. The goal of the program is to promote literacy. Literacy, like nutrition, is very important to the growth and development of children; Together they “Feed the Mind”.  

Black Bond Books has donated, sorted, stored and delivered book donations to the food bank on a regular basis. The food bank then distributes the books to children whose parents visit the food bank. Hundreds and hundreds of books have been donated by Black Bond Books and our customers. We would like to give thanks to the support of our customers and the community who help make this happen. 
 
We love supporting this and want to keep the bookshelf full. We encourage our customers and the community to continue donating new or gently used children’s books at the in-store drop off at any of our 11 Black Bond Books locations
